Common Conditions We Help

Dr. Andersson specializes in auto-immune conditions, gastro-intestinal issues, hormone imbalances, anxiety, sleep disorders, genetic variances (such as the MTHFR), infertility, pediatric conditions, prenatal nutrition and over-all wellness education. She ofters on-going talks for her patients and the public about a variety of topics, including ongoing support classes for those needing special diets to help treat their specific condition.

If you are one of those people suffering from a condition that has left you frustrated and feeling alone, give us a call, a staff member will assist you in getting to the right practitioner for your needs.

Dr. Andersson's background education is in biology, biochemistry and chiropractic, which gave her a wonderful broad based education in science, holistic healthcare and philosophy. Since starting practice nearly 22 years ago, she believes in the importance of chiropractic care as an integral part of health care. She is firm in her belief that everyone should get their spines checked regularly by an experienced chiropractor.

Some folks have misconceptions regarding what chiropractors do, however this seems to be changing. More and more people are realizing that chiropractic physicians are more likely to not just spend more time with their patients, be more whole-person focused but also tend to investigate conditions that are not so easy and obvious to diagnose, rather then dismissing these symptoms as psychological or un-treatable.

As conditions have become more and more complex, Dr. Andersson has continuously expanded her education with advanced courses all over the country to better prepare her for those "obscure" conditions that can seem to so difficult to diagnose and treat. She's the first to admit she doesn't get it 100% of the time, but rest assured she does not a leave a stone un-turned in working with her patients. Her ongoing research and time spent with her patients means she does not have time to see a lot of patients in any given day. The office atmosphere is relaxed and friendly with a slow pace to honor the time needed by people to get the care they need in a stress-free environment.

Cholesterol² Previously, the Dietary Guidelines for Americans recommended that cholesterol intake be limited to no more than 300 milligrams per day. The 2015 DGAC will not bring forward this recommendation because available evidence shows no appreciable relationship between consumption of dietary cholesterol and serum cholesterol, consistent with the conclusions of the AHA/ACC report.2, 35 Cholesterol is not a nutrient of concern for overconsumption.
